Ethan's Ark Boat Pix 2005 |
.Picture of hull with “light gray” high build primer (looks white to me). That’s Eddie standing in front of the boat. The boot stripe is half painted at this point.
Picture of main cabin companionway with part of cockpit. You can see the light green on the seats of the cockpit. This is home made non-skid and seems to work pretty well. Notice the finished companionway framing with an oak threshold and mahogany pieces for the hatch board slides.
Picture of aft companionway with more of cockpit.
Looking forward in the main salon. The ribs for the insulation are shown well in this picture.
Engine room under the cockpit. Shows the engine bed under construction.
The transom from the inside. Shows the rudder port and the deadwood. Has a quick coat of primer for protecting the wood.
The boat from the bow. I kind of like the hatches and the color of the cabin top. Non skid on the cabin top. Still only primer on the deck.
Shows the whole boat exterior. The boot stripe is complete and the hatches are complete and in place.
These pictures were taken in April of 2005 and the bottom two pictures were taken in July of 2005. How many years of weekend work? Lets see. March of 2007 will mark the tenth year from purchasing the hull.
